Call for papers

Workshop IEEE Education Society Virtual Graduate Study Consortium (VGSC)

April 24-25, 2025

This workshop presents the IEEE Education Society Virtual Graduate Study Consortium (VGSC). It serves as an opportunity for students, faculty, and industry members to learn and join the Consortium (VGSC). Student papers, industry collaboration, and demos are expected. The Workshop also offers opportunities for collaboration, and to contribute to IEEE Education Society’s standards development.

Topics are, but not limited to, the following:

Implementations and use cases related to the IEEE Education Society standards on Online laboratories (IEEE SA Std. 1876 – 2019, IEEE SA P2834 Standard on Secure and Trusted Learning Systems, IEEE SA P2834.1 Standards on Digital Forensics on Trusted Learning Systems

  • Deadline for paper submission: January 31, 2025
  • Notification of paper acceptance: February 15, 2025
  • Deadline for early conference registration: February 28, 2025
  • Deadline for camera-ready paper submission: February 20, 2025
  • Conférence dates: April 24-25, 2025

Papers should not exceed a maximum of 6 pages (including abstract, body, tables, figures, and references), and should be submitted as a pdf in 2-column IEEE format. Detailed instructions for the authors can be found at the conference website. Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors to be published in the conference proceedings.

Paper Submission & Publication

Papers should be prepared in English using the IEEE format. Papers that do not conform to the format will not be accepted despite content compliance. Papers can be submitted as full papers (6 pages) or short papers (4 pages).

Submissions will be evaluated by at least 2 members of the Scientific Program Committee members.

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
